- We recommend
that you engrave a sample of the logo when you receive it,
- Always turn
off your engraver before plugging in or pulling out a cartridge.
Failure to do so may result in damage to
your cartridge.
- With your engraver
off, plug your new Art-Scrybe cartridge into any of the cartridge
slots underneath the control panel. Once the Art-Scrybe cartridge
is in place, it may remain there.
- Turn on the
power to your engraving machine.
- Insert the
logo diskette into the disk drive.
- Set up an engraving
program.
- Select the
text entry menu. Press OPTIONS for the text entry options.

NAME”, type A: followed by the logo name as it is written
on the diskette; example A: LOGONAME. Note the placement of the
colon and the period. The screen will display ”Sending Logo”
and return to the test entry options.
- The window
will display four working fonts. Select OPTION 1. Select FONTS.
The screen will display a font menu, numbering all fonts available
up to a total of 14. The four working fonts can now be rearranged
to utilize the new logo/font now listed on the font menu. The four
working fonts are labeled a, b, c, and d. Press Enter until you
are at the font you wish to substitute. Substitute the font by entering
the number of the logo/font displayed in the menu, in place of the
number already there.

text entry: select the logo you want. Logos will be engraved by
typing the number 1 as the text.
